Q: What is the best way to clean stains on this quilt? I washed it in the washing machine but I can still see the stains. It was ear medicine from our dog if that helps. Thank you!

  • A: Annette, soak the quilt in cold water mixed with powdered Oxi Clean (oxygen bleach), or apply a paste of water and Oxi Clean to the stain, let sit for 24 hours, then wash as normal.

I liked the feel of the quilt, however the quality does not seem like it will hold up. The filling from inside the quilt are coming out from in between the stitching cause a lot of little white dots all over the quilt. Removing them will cause further damage. The pillow shams don't seem to have this issue and are perfect.

This quilt is not holding up. I got it as a late wedding present in August. So far it has 2 holes and lots of snags. It gets softer every wash but is not holding up. It’s very sad. Also doesn’t come with pillow covers. Which are $20 each

Perfect Looking But Fabric Flaws

The quilt/coverlet and shams looked exactly as what I wanted on arrival before my inspection. But the white filling was already poking out of tiny holes all over the quilt after a more thorough look. Tiny holes get larger iin a short term. This item claims that the fabric is machine washable. But it should be hand washed and hung to dry even if the ad is contrary. Per Google: Tencel is a brand name for a semi-synthetic fabric made from wood pulp that is known for being soft, durable, and breathable. It is made using a closed-loop process that dissolves wood pulp in a non-toxic solvent and then spins the dissolved pulp into fibers
