If you are a lover of true cinema, of true films and filmmaking, this is a movie for you. One of the best films to be made in the last 45 years, at least. Acting, direction, cinematography, score, writing, production, sets and costuming - everything. The fact this film did not sweep nearly every category at every awards ceremony is an absolute crime. I feel most movies these days aren't worth leaving home for and that lack of quality has far more to do with theatres struggling to survive than the rise of streaming. That said, if you get a chance to see this in theatres at some point should it ever return or get a wider release in celebration of the awards it did win, do not hesitate to see it on the largest screen possible. Absolutely breathtaking.
