What a lovely bio with a charming angle -- the queen and her love of corgis. My kids loved all the animals in the art! I loved this sweet tale of friendship and the unbreakable bond between a human and a dog. A great read for dog lovers, fans of Queen Elizabeth II, and all who enjoy true stories of royal life. The illustrations are lovely and inviting, with a bright color palette highlighting the lovely relationship the queen had her constant companions.

I absolutely love this book! It's beautiful and really informative, all about the young Princess Elizabeth and the corgi who made her fall in love with the breed. When I shared it with my 2nd grade classroom the kids asked me to read it for a second time, which doesn't happen often. Highly recommended!
