It pairs well with so many foods as well. The only downside is that it’s not available in all states and shipping is also not available in all states. This is a great crowd pleaser for any party!

While I enjoy all types of whiskey, scotch and cognac from around the world, this offers a solid fragrant and tasteful punch to the palate. It has hints of vanilla, and I seem to get a bit of smokiness in the back. I will only ever drink whiskeys straight, and this is a nice sipper.

That almost natural gold color from the spirit along with the purple and white from the label go so well together, almost speaking “royalty”. For the price point I believe you’re getting what you paid for. A nice spirit with a nice aroma followed by a smooth taste on the palate of orchard fruits and honey vanilla.

I bought this some time ago. I opened it when I was down. It soon cheered me up.

The bigger scotch drinkers regularly buy the 12, but noted the 14 seemed to have deeper and richer flavors—just a bit more character overall. Super smooth and easy to enjoy. It is very light and soft with mild sweetness and a slight fruitiness. No smoke but a touch of bitter char on the finish. Overall not very complex but very easy to drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for The Glenlivet 14 Year Old, especially given its reputation and the fact that it’s finished in Cognac casks, which is a bit different from their usual lineup. While it has some good qualities, I wouldn’t say it completely lived up to the hype. On the nose, it’s quite pleasant—fruity and slightly floral, with notes of ripe plums, honey, and a hint of spice. There’s a subtle influence from the Cognac cask, adding a bit of richness, but it doesn’t come through as strongly as I expected. The aroma is inviting, but not particularly complex or deep. The palate is smooth, as you’d expect from Glenlivet, with flavors of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel, and a little oak. There’s a bit of that Cognac warmth in the background, but again, it’s more subtle than I was hoping for. The mid-palate feels slightly thin, lacking the depth or richness I’ve enjoyed in other aged single malts. While it’s easy to drink and well-balanced, it doesn’t have that “wow” factor that would make it stand out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally had the opportunity to try this Whisky, the smell was delicious and although a bit strong for me personally it did have a great taste. For me it was a mild sweetness but fruity. Despite it feeling a little strong I can envision this a great summer time drink.

One of the smoothie drink that I have drunk, I only like to share it someone who can appreciate good liquor
