The Lakeside Collection Decorative Rail or Fence Planters

They are cute(why I got them) but man are they the cheapest things ever. Half the screw/nut holes don't line up so it's not very sturdy. I'm not returning then but I doubt they will last, fingers crossed.

We purchased the large (2) and 1 small for our patio rail. We love them. This was our 2nd summer with them and they were so pretty with vining plants. Of course, one always has RoseMoss in it as a tribute to my Nana. It's gorgeous. Only problem is finding liner replacements.

Lots of tiny screws puts this together. I got the smaller size, but it's so small I can only fit 2 little 4" pots in it. And, nobody sells a coir liner small enough. What plants grow well in a very small pot? I'm not even going to bother to put together the second one. It's really quite pretty, but I'm quite disappointed.

Paint is clipped all over. Screws are impossible to twist on and also are clipped in paint.

I bought 2 of this item & was so disappointed. It was virtually impossible to assemble without bending the scroll work. It was unstable & was of such poor quality that I didn't bother to assemble the 2nd one & threw them both away! Very dissatisfied!!!

Just bought these. Looks great. The only problem is the screws that came with it are too small extremely difficult to put together. Had to use a needle nose pliers to hold nut down and turn the screw with a star screw driver. Screws are to small to hold the brackets tight on railing. Had to buy new screws to use on brackets to tighten.

Very hard to put together, can't use a screwdriver because the scrolling is in the way. I thought the liners came with these, should have in bold somewhere (instead of clear at the bottom) that they do not. Trying to find this size at Lakeside but obviously you don't sell them for these planters. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I bought these several years ago and wanted to freshen things up so I ordered two of the large ones and two of the small ones. Lakeside doesn't carry the liners any longer, rendering these things unusable. I am returning them because I cannot find the correct size coconut liners.

The planter is lovely but didn’t come with the insert as shown in the picture

Love the size, but wish it had a bottom liner with holes for drainage to be able to filter through the woven liner.

Very pretty but difficult to assemble. Screws had paint on them Difficult to fit screwdrivers where needed to assemble Had to use pliers to bend metal so it would align with the screw holes

Ordered these April 4, company declared bankruptcy 2 days later, waited 2 weeks to see if they would ship or if my credit card was charged. Then went and found other planters locally, then 33 days later, these showed up on the front porch. Now can't get a response as to returning them since I don't need them anymore. Very disappointed in Lakeside this time. Was always happy in the past. Have not actually opened the package to give a proper review of the product.

This product is very light and flimsy. Many of the screw holes are positioned way off center or so hard to get to it’s impossible to get a tight fit. After finally assembling the planter will not position on the deck rail with any stability at all. A complete waste of money. On returns- I can’t reach anyone and a bankruptcy page showed up on the site. Trying to still get my money back.

It was a little hard to put together due to the screws being so short. It is attractive however part of the rail hanger sticks out over the rail into the walkway. I haven't planted it yet, as I just got it today.

Rediculous that coco-fiber must be bought separately. It should be included with the planter basket. Shipping/handling costs too high. If free shipping, a handling charge is added. Missing assembly parts. White color wasn't white. I had to paint.

I really like them but the metal is not as substantial as I thought it would be. I'm afraid they will not last long and will rust quickly.

It was okay until the last screw and nut - the decorative design did not allow the screw to fit flush and it went in crooked so the nut would not go on properly to attach the bracket to the basket - I have to tie a piece of string to it to hold it together so I can use it on the fence! What a shame and waste of money!

I bought three planters and the coconut baskets earlier in May and they add so much beauty to my small porch. They’re decorative, simple, and elegant. If I move and need more, I’d gladly buy these again.
