The rod in the center is an inch longer than it should be to fit the shelf. If I cut off one end I will have to drill a new hole. Totally disappointed.

My husband had a hard time with the hooks on the back of the shelf.to get it on the wall. he thought the hooks could have been, a little stronger for this item.

I bought this shelf for our bedroom and hung a lightweight quilt on it with pictures and knick knacks on it. I absolutely love it. I put it together myself without directions and hung it too. Would recommend to purchase.

I bought this last week and it shipped nicely and looked as expected online. One small issue, the dowel was missing one of the inside screws that go to the round pins that hold it to the shelf. I fixed it myself, but it was a minor annoyance.

I had no trouble putting this together straight out of the box, when mounting it I did discover a slight scratch on the top of the shelf (which eventually will be covered up with something, so it won't even be seen). I bought this to hang a wall quilt, the wall quilt just barely fits on the rod, BUT it fit and now I get to enjoy the precious family heirloom.
