This was a Christmas present for my 7 year old grandson and he loved it, it was a great learning toy and kept him thinking how to put pieces together different ways to create a working project.

This toy is so engaging especially for kids who are interested in engineering related items. The creative idea of building and running the marble became a fascinating act for my boy now !!

We were gifted this for my 7 year old. This is a great set with lots of interesting maneuvers the marbles go through. The favorite is the funnel! My boys, even my older boys, will sit and play with this for hours!! I actually really like that it's hand crank as then my boys don't leave it running. They also have another powered set and I like that they can mix and match to make their own marble runs. The only downside is they are a little hard to follow the directions. Especially for a 7 year old. My older boys like to help put them together, though. The smaller set is definitely easier to put together than the larger more involved sets.

We were gifted this item and my six year old LOVES this. It requires cranking and closing trap doors so it’s not just a passive toy. Marble runs are so great for learning all about gears and engineering! It took some time to build because the pieces snap securely, which is great but if he made a mistake he couldn’t unclick them so I had to help a few times. My son has already asked for another set for Christmas to connect them together!
