The Little Mermaid Flounder Infant/Toddler Costume

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Mermaid Flounder costume is cute, but the quality is lacking. The fabric feels cheap and the colors are not as vibrant. It’s decent for a one-time wear, but don’t expect it to last through multiple uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flounder outfit it so cute and silly, my daughter absolutely loves it. It’s really comfortable for her (she wants to wear it as pajamas) and it’s perfect for dress up or a Halloween costume. It fits well just a little long for my girl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality costume- like that it has shiny scales but my toddler was confused as this costume is for the “new” live action little mermaid so it’s not obviously the Disney cartoon version of flounder.

If it was Halloween and chilly I would have to put a coat on top instead of underneath as it fits snug. The legs were a bit long. The head gear fit well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I may not have seen the latest adaption of the little mermaid, but I was certainly hoping the flounder costume would be a bit cuter. I’m sure if I watched the movie, I would appreciate this costume more. This costume has a headpiece which is fun, but this costume is very realistic looking and I can’t get over it . I feel like most people would just assume my son is just a random fish than “flounder” from the little mermaid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this costume in the size 3T to 4T. In my opinion it is true to size. The material is comfortable and breath able. I feel like i can use this for my smaller child next year also since its still like new after washing. This costume is very detailed it has fins on the hips and shiny scales on parts of the costume. I like that the headpiece is not attached to the jumpsuit in case my child’s face gets warm they can just take off the headpiece without having to take everything off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be honest is stating I wasn’t able to see the appearance of the costume before it arrived. In my mind, I had all expectations that it would be the classic flounder cartoon look which is so sweet. Unfortunately, it’s like a real life fish… and we don’t think it’s sweet, but it’s very life like! The detail is there and as you can see, from the scales to the eye detail, if a real life fish is what you’re looking for- this is it. Maybe for a couples costume like a parent reeling in the child (fish?) or a child that’s just generally obsessed with fish. For the little mermaid— I’d never make the connection. Oh! And one last thing- the fabric is classic costume fabric, nothing special, but parts of it are double layered or thicker which is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler was so excited to try on this fish costume! It’s so silly and we just loved watching his reaction to seeing the fish eyes and fins. It’s for size 3-4t and fits perfectly. For reference my son is using 3t clothes. It’s thin so we’d have him use this over pajamas for extra warmth. We love playing dress up so this was a fun costume to add to our toy box.
