Description
The Parent Trap tells the tale of identical twin sisters, separated shortly after birth by the break-up of their parents. The twins are raised on different continents by their two successful parents. Unaware of each other's existence, fate intervenes when the girls coincidentally meet at summer camp in Maine. Eager to meet their respective parents, the girls devise a scheme to switch places and ultimately, reunite their mom and dad.

We were watching this for the first time out of the package and the movie just stopped in the middle and went back to the home screen. We tried a couple more times but at the same spot each time, it kicked back to the main menu. When I went to the store they told me I could exchange it for a different movie or I could drive to a different city to replace it. I told them I wasn't doing either and they gave me a refund. I'm going to order it again because it's one of our favorites. Hopefully it will work this time.

I ESO PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO SEE THAT THIS WAS RELEASED ON DVD. I HAD THIS ON VIDEO TAPE YEARS AGO WHEN THIS WAS FIRST RELEASED TO VIDEO CASSETTE. THIS REMAKE STARS DENNIS QUAID, NATASHA RICHARDSON, AND LINDSAY LOHAN IN DUAL ROLES. THIS IS ONE OF THE ONLY REMAKES I HAVE EVER ENJOYED. GREATLY DUE TO THE WONDERFUL CAST OF ACTORS AND ACTRESES. THE STORY IS ABOUT TWO TWINS WHO ACCIDENTALLY WIND UP AT THE SAME CAMP. THEY DEVISE A PLAN TO SWITCH PLACES SO THAT EACH ONE CAN MEET THEIR PARENTS WHO GOT DIVORCED YEARS EARLIER ONE IN CALIFORNIA AND THE OTHER IN LONDON. THE, DVD IS FULL OF SPECIAL FEATURES SUCH AS: UPDATING A CLASSIC A LOKK BACK AT THE MAKING OF THE PARENT TRAP, DELETED SCENE MEETING THE QUEEN- WITH OPTINONAL DIRECTOR COMMENTARY- HOW HALLIE BECAME ANNIE FEATURETTE-ACCENT ON FUN- AUDIO COMMENTARY WITH PRODUCER/SCREENWRITER CHARLES SHYER AND DIRECTOR SCREENWRITER NANCY MEYERS THE PARENT TRAP COMES IN AT AROUND 128MINUTES
