Opening with aromas of cranberry, dark cherry, cedar, pine needles, clove, and brown spice, this extraordinarily artful California red wine is soft and well-balanced. Crafted from Pinot Noir and Syrah/Viognier grapes sourced from vineyards in Santa Barbara, Sonoma Coast, Napa Valley, Edna Valley, and Monterey, before being aged in French oak barrels, this dark red wine bestows flavors of fresh red berry, with an ample structure and seamless tannins. I initially bought this because - this label design, packaging is just SO cool! I mean, seriously - that wax covering the bottle, the half face peaking out. Designed to make you curious what’s inside. Well, the amount of effort put in to the outside, is matched on the inside. It isn’t a bland boring Pinot Noir - it is flavorful, smooth - delicious! Easy drinker! Bring this bottle to your next dinner party and it is sure to be a conversation piece and good drinker!

IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN. The whole point of a nice point bottle of wine is to have a relaxing glass with your boo. It is not supposed to lead into a fight over how to open it, and then have someone stab themselves with the wine key…. Makers Mark figured out how to do the wax seal, this product has not.

Was okay. Not a huge fan. I like my wine sweeter. Thus was kind of bitter to me. I'm not sure that I would really recommend this product as I won't drink it again. Definitely room for improvement.
