Finally a box set

I love that there is finally a compilation of his works that feels cohesive. From a design perspective I wish the box set was nicer to look at. The books themselves are a beautiful blue fabric. The dust sleeves are a dated looking full bleed black with a generic calligraphy font and a photo of the author. I feel like it’s a real missed opportunity to create something more memorable ie: a beautiful illustration reflecting his stories, or more interesting type treatments with minimal color. As this is a collectors item I think more thought should have been put into making it look nice on the shelf. Still won’t affect the quality of his wonderful writing though.
