The methodical approach to science fiction taken in this book blurs the lines between reality and fiction, leaving the reader wanting to study physics to better understand the gravity of the plot. Enough is explained to allow non-academics to enjoy it, but enough depth is given to give physicists and other academics something to chew on for a good while.
