Heather Hach's psychological thriller "The Trouble with Drowning" is a gripping tale of aspiring author Kat Lamb's first taste of love, full of unexpected twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Hach's writing is masterful! She effortlessly weaves together a complex web of suspense, romance, and psychological darkness. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the story is fast-paced and engaging. Kat Lamb is a character that you can't help but feel sorry for. She's a talented writer who is struggling to make her dreams come true, and she's finally found the love of her life. But just when things seem to be going her way, her world starts to unravel. As the story progresses, Kat's dark side emerges, and it's a chilling reminder that even the most seemingly good people are capable of great evil. "The Trouble with Drowning" is a must-read for anyone who loves a good psychological thriller. It's a story that will stay with you long after you've finished reading it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fast-paced, suspenseful read with a little bit of everything: romance, suspense, a plot with twists and turns, and an ending that will leave you wanting more.

🦩 The Trouble With Drowning Review🦩 • I have met a lot of cool people in my life, but meeting people with the same love and passions of mine is a rare gem. The lovely @heatherhachhearne happens to be one of those amazing gems who gifted me her first ever novel and honestly... I procrastinated finishing it because I was sad for it to come to an end... A suspenseful psychological thriller that takes you on a wild ride. A combination of sexy, obsession, and bringing to life the normalization of those that battle mental health may have you at some parts questioning your own sanity. Heather perfectly pens real life aspects of our obsession with what we see through rose colored glasses in her book making it more relatable and easy to dive into from the very first page. In this book, we get: ♡ Mental health battles ♡ obsession ♡ suspense ♡ psychological trills ♡ romance ♡ smutt ♡ fast paced read ♡ Slow burn Honestly how far are you willing to go to maintain the false life you worked so hard to build, even if it means hurting those who manage to get in your way? From the moment I opened The Trouble With Drowning I was instantly obsessed. The cute witty Kat was so relatable, and loveable until... Naive at times and innocent, she will have you in all the feels. Until her demons from her past begin to resurface and cripple her mental health. Just like the cute Barbiesque cover you'll be sucked in from page one. The beginning starting out innocent, sexy and romantic, and then taking you on one wild mind screw of a ride as you experience the whirlwind of Kats mind. The Trouble With Drowning is an incredible whirlwind of thrills, chills and a nonstop wave of emotions. ⭐️5/5 🌶 3.5/5
