TheraTears SteriLid Hypochlorous Acid Spray Eyelid Cleanser cleanses eyelids and lashes to support ocular health and eye comfort with a gentle, professional formula. Use this hypochlorous acid spray for face and eyes to elevate eye care and help soothe irritated, watery, dry eyes. This prescription-strength antimicrobial face spray is formulated with hypochlorous acid and is pH-balanced to be gentle on eyes without soap, rinsing, or irritation. TheraTears was created by an ophthalmologist after 18 years of research and is the first FDA-accepted eyelid cleanser for eyelid and eyelash cleansing. Q: Is this for use to help prevent flakes in the eyelashes. My eye doctor did not specify a product but recommended an eyelid cleaner when I asked. (To prevent blepheritis I think it is called.)

I don't wear makeup that often but my eyelids are somewhat oily and I used it for that purpose. It did get rid of the oil and cleaned my eyelid but I didn't notice a difference between regular water and this. Besides the sterilized portion of the product. If you hurt your eyelid this would be perfect!
