I rec'd this for my birthday in April. It worked great the first few times and then just started flashing 888 all the time. The battery should not be going dead already only being used a handful of times. Very disappointed. Plus, the magnet stuck to one of my spoons and came off of the thermometer. It is so stuck to my spoon we have not been able to remove it. We've tried everything to pry it off with no luck lol. Now my serving spoon sticks to any other silverware that it comes in contact with. Was looking to purchase another thermometer but I see most are the same brand as the one I have. Scared to throw money away on another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thermopro TP01H seems to read accurately. The backlight feature is definitely nice to have since we often grill in the winter when it gets darker early and even with a light near the grill it is usually impossible to read the temp on a meat thermometer out there. This makes it easy to see. It has a spot at the top for hanging it up. My favorite feature though is the magnet on the back! I was always losing our kitchen thermometers in the utensil drawers and they disappeared forever. This can be stuck to the fridge, grill, or stove so it's always easy to find. Genius! We'll see how it holds up under regular use, but so far I definitely recommend it!

I have put it to the test about a dozen times already, with meatloaf on the smoker, steaks, and chicken. I have tested it against my internal meat thermometer probes and it's been spot on. I highly recommend using this thermometer for all your grilling needs. It's convenient and so easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thermopro TP01H Fast Reading Digital Meat Thermometer isn't anything very fancy, but it does get the job done quickly. The thermometer has the necessary features such as a button to switch between Fahrenheit or Celsius, a backlight on the display and even a display lock. I used this on various meats and food items and the readout was always very quick and I like that the probe is extra long. The longer probe was handy for checking the temperature of items while they were still in the oven and it kept me from having to pull out my food dishes. This thermometer has been very handy and overall, I like using it. I do wish it had a better probe cover though, because I'm worried I'll lose the tiny one provided.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] really easy to use, sleek design and works well! Super long probe that gets in nice and deep to the meat without getting splatter from the pan!
Also its a cool colour and comes with a cap to cover the end so you dont poke your hand when looking in the drawer, or damage the end when not in use.
Only complaint is that you had to have a watch battery on hand, there is NOT one in the box. which is annoying and very inconvenient. unless you own a watch repair shop, or your last name is Duracell.

If you need to know the correct temperature turn over and it's written on back, also on back is a magnet. Can use Celsius or Fahrenheit just a press of button to change. Has a light button and lock button. To turn off hold power button down.

While it was a smoky affair, it was great to have this meat thermometer handy. It worked like a charm to ensure the steaks reached the correct temperature for consumption. The backlight is useful in making it easier to read. If you need a device to measure meat temperature, I highly recommend this thermometer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing, and easy to use instant read thermometer. The buttons are easy to use and the thermometer seems accurate for cooking. All you have to do is turn it on, place in your food and wait a few seconds to get a accurate reading. Since this isn't a folding thermometer it does have a magnet on back for placing on the fridge or anything magnetic. I placed mine in the side of the fridge.

I inserted the thermometer into my chicken and had a reading almost immediately. I took the temperature more than once and it was consistent on its reading. It is very easy to operate and also easy to clean. I am very happy with this addition to my kitchen gadgets. Highly recommend!

I was really satisfied with the ease of use of this thermometer I like that it has a light on the display which makes it easier to read the temperature. Also I liked that on back of the thermometer it shows you what temperature your looking for depending of how you want your meat done. I would recommend this Thermopro TP01H thermometer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all it works! and it seems to be pretty spot on. the probe is a good length and the tip works well in different meats. The quality however is very low. It feels flimsy with a cheap plastic handle. The buttons work fine but feel very cheap and I think they can break at any moment. The battery is easy to replace. If you are looking for a quick option maybe for on the go I would recommend it. But overall the quality needs some work.

Should have read the description more thoroughly - not waterproof and stopped working after 1 use. Seems like a poor design for a kitchen tool - do not recommend buying.
