Q: I recently purchased thinksport spf 50, which arrived w the new packaging and has a new scent. It was watery; I'm unsure if it's damaged. Is it supposed to have a new scent and thinner consistency?

A: We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience, and we will direct this to our QC team immediately. Please be assured that the product is still both completely safe and effective. The water should simply be discarded, meaning you can squeeze it out right away and then shake up the rest of the product in the tube and it should blend together to be a more cream texture. The product remaining in the tube should be applied normally and still contains all the active ingredient—pure zinc oxide and will still deliver the full SPF protection and functionality. Q: What's the difference between this formula and the kids? Read both labels and don't readily see what it could be.

A: Only the fragrance is different- the kids' formula has a sweeter smell, and the adult one has a citrus smell. Personally I prefer the citrus and find it softer.

Vacationing in Hawaii and decided to give this a try. ALL 6 of us that put this on ended up with blistered chemical burns. We have all of the pictures to prove it. We could all feel it burning immediately when putting it on our skin. We had hardly even been in the sun yet.

I used this on 4-5 different people in our group and we ALL immediately burned and blistered. We could feel a reaction happening on our skin. We all have a sort of chemical burn. The photos below are just me alone.

We are snorkeling everyday and the only place I burned in 15 days was my poor lips the day I forgot my lip balm. This is a great product and highly recommend it! We are going home happy and a little tan with absolutely no peeling anywhere!

Last year we used only Think Baby sunscreen and it worked great! This year however, not only does it seem harder to rub in, but it smells terrible. I also feel like we are still getting a slight burn even after re-applying. We will be trying a different brand for the rest of summer.

They've done YET ANOTHER formula change to ALL of their liquid sunscreens. The new formula now has TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE which is silicon based. They also added SODIUM HYALURONATE which is derived from animal cartilage, so the product isn't vegan or cruelty free anymore! To top it off, they also added NATURAL FRAGRANCE Oil, so those who hate scent or have sensitive skin, no one cares about you! Now I have to find a new sunscreen to use. What a shame. And shame on ThinkSun for letting their greed ruin their products.

This product is worthless. Would've been just as good not applying. I wanted to switch to a nontoxic brand but hoped I wouldn't get sunburnt in the process. Would not recommend.

Great coverage. Really nice smell. Really great sun protection with none of us burning over the summer in Texas. This is now my go to sun protection every summer. It does leave a white cast, but it’s for sun protection. I’m ok with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved it! A little goes a long way, it lasted surprisingly longer than I expected (3 people used it all day long during a 7 day beach vacation). Did its job in preventing sunburns. Can confirm it is water resistant/proof as well. The only downside I can think of is the slight white cast it leaves on your skin. However, that is to be expected with a clean sunscreen and totally worth it to use something safe for yourself and the ocean/reefs.

Worked really well, you will need to reapply after 2 hrs swimming. Also rubs off if you are sitting in a seat or drying off or wearing clothing over it, like any sunscreen. Not too chalky. Would use it again.
