[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product very durable, runs on carpet and regular flooring. Speaker has good sound at kids level. Train car connections are just snapped together for easy operation for kids to do themselves. This product was definitely a hit for the kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Thomas & Friends Talking Gordon Toy Train, Motorized Engine With Phrases & Sounds. Thomas is a huge hit in our house and this topped it with the phrases and sounds. My little boy loved it. He had played with it nonstop!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves Thomas & Friends so was ecstatic to receive the Thomas & Friends talking Gordon toy. She loved that Gordon could talk and interact with other talking trains and that he was able to go around the track with her other trains. We will be purchasing more of the talking trains for her so she can watch them talk to each other as they go around the track.

I definitely need to buy more for my son, he was inlove! They are great sizing as well, not too large and not too small to the point where it’s dangerous. Lovely toy, and greatly made

My 8.5mo son loves just watching it go around when my daughter pushes the button. It will be a great toy when my son is a little older and can play along with my daughter! We love this train

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the train is still a hit and regularly played with, the mechanism that makes it move by itself broke within a day. Thankfully it wasnt a defining characteristic and the kids still enjoy listening to him talk and pretend to choo choo through the house. Would buy again in hopes this one was just a lemon.

The trains are well built and have held together quite well to hours of play. My son loves the fact that when you have two trains together they interact with each other making play even more fun. As a parent I am quite impressed with this train and would highly recommend it.

She loves trains, and the fact that this train can move without a track is even better! It has a handful of fun sayings, that are easily prompted with a push of a button! The train has an engine and two train cars the attach to each other. Attaching the trains is a bit difficult for my 3.5 year old, but once attached they don't come apart easily. This toy is great to pack on the go for fun wherever you are especially because no track is needed!

It is very easy to operate and he had fun watching it move on it's own and turning it to change directions. He wasn't able to put the cars back together if one of them broke apart, but it was easy for me as a parent to do so. The only complaint I have it that the toy advertised that it came with batteries, which it did, but they did not work. I thought the train was broken until I tried changing the batteries. If you're going to include batteries (which I appreciated as a parent) make sure they are good quality!

He owns a few of them, Thomas, Edward, James, now Gordon. It's fun to see them communicate with each other, even from a distance. The toy was well made but does not work well with the older track master tracks. This doesn't come with a new track which made my son disappointed.

My 3 year old was so excited to play trains! What I love about Talking Gordon is the easy on/off switch. This is a huge improvement over some of the Trackmaster trains that we have. My toddler can easily maneuver the button and set the train up. The accessory cars are great - you can mix and match them and the train pulls them easily. The train works easily with or without a track - we drove around the track but also had races just across the floor. The best part - the trains talk to each other! Another super awesome interactive experience.

The children lit up and were super excited just seeing it, so of course were delighted to see that it makes noises and talks to them. The button is very easy for little hands to push and the sound is loud enough to keep their attention, but not too loud and obnoxious like many toys on the market. A big bonus is that it fits on the old wooden track that we have making it even more fun. The train cars are easy to take apart and reattach. The 3-year old had no trouble at all. They can’t wait to get more of these trains. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Its motorized and talks, so its compatible with the Thomas the Train talking train set. The little cart detach from the train, so can easily just take the train with you. Seems to be durable at this time, he has had them for a while now and we haven't had any issues. The talking trains will also communicate with other talking trains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The train is very durable and is able to be used by itself or with multiple items. It is a little heavy but last if thrown or dropped. The wheels however can get tangled up in hair. So be careful.The sound is very loud and clear and keeps my childs attention.
