Thomas & Vine Medium and Wide Width Mens Jarett Lace-up Wingtip Ankle Boot

I've seen many friends sporting these shoes, but after my purchase and tried the shoes they were too big/wide for my feet. There's no returns, so I'm not at all happy.

My only complaint is that the fit is a bit tight in the right boot.

I love the look of the boot, I give it a 4 star only because the toes of each boot look like something is smeared on it, it is not a solid blue like it should be. This was a final sale, so I guess maybe that is the reason for the color change. It took a few days to break them in, they feel great.

Love the shoes! Unfortunately the package was torn to shreds when arrived on my porch. I was very lucky to have the shoes in good condition. The black bag each shoe came in within the box, was the only thing that saved the shoes.

I have bought the Ryker style the past 2 years and loved the fit. That line seems to be discontinued so I bought these thinking it would have a similar fit. I love the wingtip style, and the look of the Jarrett. The length is good but they don't come in wide fit making them some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever purchased. It pinches by the knife edge of the foot by the pinky toe and is harder to get on and off than the Ryker. The outsole is also almost completely smooth making them very slippery outside on ice and laminated flooring. Hopefully it feels more comfortable as I break them in.

Style and fit are very good. I find them difficult to put on without a shoe horn due to the placement of the zipper. I've had other shoes of similar design with the zipper placed more forward that allows for them to be donned with ease. These tend to deform and not allow your heel to travel into position without the use of a shoe horn.

The fit is pretty true and the look is classy. These are a must buy.

Boots are holding up to constant use while still maintaining their shape and color.

Leather feels cheap & the herringbone inserts are a bit flimsy. They're also extremely uncomfortable despite being a pretty wide boot. Stiff up to ankle.

The black polish bled a bit onto the houndstooth, but it's too late to exchange then as I need them for a wedding. Hopefully nobody will look too close.

I like the look of them is why I bought them. But wearing them for almost a week I feel they could use more padding. Make them a little more comfortable on the feet. Other than that they are holding up compared to the last pair I bought.

I had been looking for low boots for business casual dress at the office. I appreciate nice shoes and I liked these colors because they would go well with various shirts and dark jeans. These shoes are vary comfortable. This was a new brand for me and I was hesitant to try it. But this is a fantastic boot and I am already thinking of additional dress shoes from them.
