Well made, but stiff

This is a well-made bag, but know that it is very structured and stiff. You may love that design, but for my husband, it’s uncomfortable to wear and difficult to squish under an airplane seat.

I got it a month ago and I’m happy with it. Good quality and sturdy too. The only thing I am not 100% convinced about is the size of the pockets. The price really pays for the quality of the product

Disappointed

Been using this bag for about four months primarily as a carryon travel bag. Pro: Very sturdy bag with comfortable straps. Like the top protective pocket for glasses. Cons: The water bottle zipper is SO disappointing, does not keep in place. Compartments are not user friendly. Would gladly send back.

Backpack is great! I bought for an upcoming trip to have a sturdy option to travel carry-on, and it performs great! I haven't had any issues fitting stuff into it, or accessing anything in my bag (I was a little worried with some previous reviews) but it works great! I may just buy a second one so I don't have to swap out work and play all the time!

I've been used the Thule Crossover 2 20L for 3 years. And I haven't had any problems. Well, yes, with the front, those parts are like rubber...I think that is great product. The costumer service is fantastic, because they replacement the Crossover for the problem with rubber. I have a question. The Thule has a compartment for laptop. But in which of the two compartments in the back put my laptop? I didn't mention the central part...

Section don’t open wide enough

I love the look, construction and quality but the design of the three sections is very poor. You have to go digging for items in the dark since the zipper is not lower enough to allow the sections to open wider to be able to see inside. Needs better compartments to organize computer accessories like mouse, power bucks and cables. Did not realize these flaws until I used it an after the 30 days or would have returned.

Thank you for your input on the Thule Crossover 2 backpack. The Thule Crossover 2 is designed to meet the needs of most commuters through accessibility and organization features. The front pocket of the bag has a series of sections designed for stowing chargers, cables, and other small accessories so they are always easy to find. While the bag does not open all the way to the bottom, it does allow for some of the most access out of any of Thule's laptop backpacks. The Thule Crossover 2 is designed to stand upright for easy loading, so some lateral support is necessary to ensure it stands easily. I'm sorry to hear this bag did not meet your needs. If opening fully in a "clamshell" design is a priority for your bags, I recommend taking a look at the Thule Aion 28L, which opens fully to access the main storage compartment for travel packing. https://www.thule.com/en-us/backpacks/backpacking-travel-backpacks/thule-aion-travel-backpack-28l-_-3204721

The bag is of nice quality craftsmanship. The only drawback is the the compartments don't open fully witch makes it hard to find putting things in and out of bag. If you need a lot of space this bag dose not offer that. I would still recommend this bag because of the quality.

Disappointing Backpack

2 out of 5 stars

I've been using this backpack for a week now and I'm quite disappointed with the organization for smaller items. Let's start with the good. I love the overall aesthetics and look of the bag. I love that the bag maintains it's shape and stands up on the floor. It's also made of really durable, luggage material, so there's no doubt it will have a long life of daily use. Now for the bad... I really hate that there is not much storage for smaller items in the front pocket. The front pocket is deceptively small and there is not much room to store anything with creating unsightly bulges on the bag that make it difficult to zip it closed. I would've much rather preferred shrinking the large compartment of the bag by a couple inches to make more space in the front of the bag for smaller items. The zipper pulls are all metal, and very noisy. It sounds like I'm walking around with little bells on. I hate the water bottle pocket. My 532 ml steel water bottle from a well known brand fits too loosely and slips out if the bag is place flat on a seat or desk top. I would've much preferred the typical mesh pouch on the side like most backs use. I also dislike how it looks with the side pockets puffed out with a bottle in it, it ruins the aesthetics. I hate that the main compartment is mostly open space - might be great for storing packing cubes of clothes or larger items like a coat, but this is a business bag, so more flexibility for storing smaller items in the front pocket would've been better. There's not even a proper spot to store my laptop mouse and power adapter! I hate that the "paper" pocket in the main compartment of the bag is not more rigid or flat. This leads to my loose papers or soft folders getting a bit warped in the bag - not great for business use. I was surprised that the padding on the bottom of the laptop compartment doesn't have better coverage. There's a gap in the padding where the laptop could hit the floor directly when being put down. Overall, I wish I could return this bag but I'm now stuck with it. Very disappointed with Thule as they were highly recommended for their excellent luggage and quality other products. The Crossover 2 backpack just misses the mark for my everyday and travel laptop backpack of choice.

I use this backpack mainly for work. It's the perfect size. The various compartments are just the right size and securely hold what I need them to hold. The backpack itself isn't heavy, but it's sturdy and well-made. And, it stands by itself without falling forward or backward with stuff in it. Highly recommended!

Great for Work

I use this backpack everyday for carrying all my stuff for work and for traveling. It is a great product for what I use it for and has a lot of space for chargers, phones, tablets, etc. The SafeZone compartment is great for storing glasses and a phone. Only issues I have are the straps are a little uncomfortable. Also, the laptop sleeve claims to support a 15.6 laptop, however a 15 inch Macbook Pro just barely fits and is better suited for 13 14 inch Windows laptops. Other than that this product is very durable and great for carrying all of your tech!

Solid survived being flung off Space Mountain

Let's cut to the chase this is a solid, well designed backpack that rocks. I researched a ton of backpacks that have a structured exterior style and after owning this one for about a year, it has not disappointed. I don't write a ton a reviews but feel I had to on this one. It wears well for a tall guy and it has a padded back that makes it comfortable for wearing a long period of time. You can really fit a lot of stuff into 4 zippered areas. I was concerned the 30L would be too big for under the airplane seat in front of you, but this has been the best aspect fo the bag. It fits under the seat perfectly and when you pull it out to access items, all 4 zippers are easily accessible. Also the water bottle sleeve on the side and wallet/keys sleeve on the other side are pretty handy. And lastly, yes...it is durable. I wore it at Disney with all my family's stuff (4 water bottles, ponchos, spray fan, snacks, change of kid clothes, cell phone chargers, etc) and when I loaded onto the Space Mountain ride, I put it between my legs figuring it would be fine. About halfway through, a sharp dip and tight turn, and that sucker flew right out! I definitely heard it hit some metal bars or some sort of scaffolding. Not a good feeling to lose it, but they found it the next day and when I picked it up from lost and found, no scratches, and all items inside were intact. Pretty good stress test!
