Great stroller but some initial issues

I just bought this stroller and have only jogged 4 miles with it on a paved trail. I did love the stroller most of the jog but it already started having problems which are: -The breaks began sticking -The latch doesn’t align and can’t close The first two miles were amazing! This stroller glides well, the brakes worked very well down hill, and my son fell asleep the ride was so smooth. However, after two miles I noticed that the breaks on the left side started sticking. I tried to fix the breaks on the trail but ended up pushing the stroller back with resistance for the rest of the two miles. Luckily my husband is mechanically inclined and after fiddling with the breaks for 20 minutes was able to tighten the cables just right so that they would no longer catch. The breaks just need to be fine tuned, they weren’t properly centered around the wheel and I assume the one we bought was not tightened correctly. Like I said above, the latch doesn’t align properly even straight out of the box (please see picture). I didn’t have anything additional in the stroller, I also tried to move the front wheel sideways to make it fit and it still wouldn’t align. On a positive note, I bought the universal car seat adaptor to go with my Graco car seat and it works beautifully! It feels very secure and it is very easy to set up. Secondly, I really do like this stroller, before the break problems I was amazed at how well the stroller glides, it doesn’t feel like you’re pushing anything. It folds very easily as well. I hope our problems are behind us with the stroller but definitely disappointed to have had problems within the first four miles of use.

This stroller is the smoothest ride compared to every other stroller we have handled, it’s nimble through narrow shop doors, down cobble streets, off road, and on the jogging paths. The basket is big enough for groceries and has a splash cover for wet days. It’s easy to fold, it fits in our RAV4 and travels well by airplane. We love almost everything about it! The issues we have are kind of important though: 1. The seat angle is very reclined and I understand that works for jogging but we use this stroller for everything and I wish there was an upright option even if it came with user instructions to recline when jogging. Our little dude doesn’t like to layback at the Zoo. 2. The straps are soo short! No matter how we configure them it’s nearly impossible to buckle our guy in, especially in winter. Please make them longer for goodness sake!

Love the easy use of this stroller for my baby for everyday use but the front fender has a bolt rubbing the wheel making it completely unusable. We will have to remove the entire front wheel to attempt to fix the use before it can be used again which is very disappointing

This stroller is amazing. We have put our new born in for many walks already and the wind picked up luckily on our way back home but the canopy worked great. The suspension is nice and my son's head doesn't move around as much as the other stroller we had with the same car seat. We bought the adapter for our car seat and works great. I did a light jog just to get the feel and it was smooth even on street. Fantastic Qulity I highly recommend.

All of the options work so well together. Attaching a Chico car seat using the adapter was very quick to set up. Love it!

My baby loves going on runs with me in this stroller. It has a great design and is really easy to handle. My only complaints are things that have been mentioned already, stock tubes are horrible and will blow out within a few weeks of use, it scratches easily (can be avoided if you are careful when setting up/breaking down), and the front fender fell off within a few weeks (easy fix). The only other thing I’d comment on is the instructions are not great for the infant insert, the video online is a little better but I spent awhile fumbling with it.
Love it!

I have been enjoying our new stroller a lot. It has a smooth ride and the suspension allows it to glide over uneven sidewalks without jarring our little one. My two wishes are that I would be able to buy a tray for me to put a cell phone or water bottle in. I know there is the net in the back, but it is not easily accessible when walking. I also wish the handle had one more lower setting. Those two things are rather minute though and do not take away from the overall ease of use.
I Know They Will Love It!

We have been using this for a couple months now and really like it. Baby seems to like it is as well. We take it on trails near us on the west coast and it rides nicely. Just got into jogging with it and overall good experience. We got the silver and blue colour - really nice. A couple of comments - we had issues with the front wheel and the cover on top of it - the screw kept falling out. Would make loud noises and slow down the stroller from moving. My partner was able to fix it by removing some parts, but frustrating to have to deal with. For future models, I’d like it if there was more to the safety strap. It would be great if it could act as a clip on your shirt like on a treadmill, where if it pulls off the stroller will brake. Because the wrist strap is a bit annoying to get on and off. Also not sure if future models could be lighter? I’m able to lift it but it’s not incredibly light - especially after giving birth. Last thing, the clip on the side that keeps the stroller folded, please make this a different colour than black as it took us forever to figure out how to open the stroller and second, if it could fold up and down to clip instead as right now it’s channeling to use. Other than this, I enjoy it. I do recommend it despite my issues with it. Shipped fast too!

We are a Thule family and we bought this knowing it would have the same quality as all of our other Thule products. The stroller rolls smooth and is easy to use. Fits in the trunk of my Civic and allows us to explore. Great stroller if you have the means to grab one! The green colour is beautiful.
Don’t like the seat recline

We bought this stroller to do some serious outdoor trekking with our little ones. Let me start by saying that it kills me to write a negative review about this stroller because I absolutely love everything about it EXCEPT for the seat recline which unfortunately is a huge issue because my kids hated it and refused to sit in it so we ended up switching to a BOB with a deeper seat. This is a beautiful stroller with such great functionality and it handles off road beautifully, but neither of my kids would tolerate much more than a few minutes in it because the seat is so shallow and reclined. I wish Thule would deepen the bum portion of the seat and adjust the design so the back support can go much more upright. If the seat was changed I would never get rid of this stroller and it would be a 10/10 recommend for me.

Hello Beth, Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Thule Urban Glide 2. I'm sorry to hear your children did not find the stroller as comfortable as it could be. The seat recline on the Thule Urban Glide 2 is a safety requirement for its use as a jogging stroller. The reclined seat ensures the child is secure when the stroller is used for higher-speed activities. Other Thule strollers not intended for running and jogging have a more vertical seat angle.

This is the first stroller I have ever own and boy is it a joy! Did extensive research and this was the right fit. My wife and I are avid runners and we live in an urban environment. We also wanted something that could be used with our car seat with a newborn. Works perfectly! Super smooth and the shocks with brakes is next level. Check out Wirecutter if you need to be convinced
Love it!

I love this stroller and wish I would have bought it when I had my first instead of going with a cheaper brand. It is so light and easy to push, I can do it with one hand while holding my toddlers basket of rocks in the other. The only negative is the lack of cupholder/storage compartment for a phone but it's minor for me. The undercarriage storage is huge compared to other strollers I've seen and I love how far down the sunshade comes.
Horrible Back Wheel Squeak & Rubbing

We’ve been using this stroller with the bassinet attachment for just over a month. Within a few uses the back wheel started making a horrible noise squeaking/rubbing noise. It often wakes the baby up if she’s napping on walks. Because our daughter is so young, we haven’t even had a chance to use this for jogging. The stroller has only been used on paved walkways, it should not have any issues with the wheels, especially since it is advertised as an “all-terrain.” We’ve submitted a warranty claim, but disappointed to be having issues so quickly with such an expensive stroller.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Thule Urban Glide 2. It looks like a member of Thule's warranty team has assessed the case and determined that the rubbing was likely the result of a stuck brake and provided assistance on troubleshooting this. I hope you continue to enjoy using the stroller!

This stroller fits all our needs. Perfect for jogs/runs and walks. When our son was a newborn, we used the Urban Glide Bassinet as an attachment. It was so wonderful knowing we could jog, and our baby be safe and snug. Once he showed signs that he was ready to transition to an upright position, we converted the stroller back and it is our daily go-to. We're excited to continue to use this stroller as our boy grows!

I have been using the Thule Urban glide for the past 6 months and have loved how light, compact and easy to fold it is. We've traveled to 3 countries with this stroller and it has worked great on all terrains/road types. I used another stroller for my older two daughters and always found them heave, and very difficult to maneuver, which was not the case with Thule Urban Glide while I use it for my 3rd daughter. Plus is looks classy too.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is hands-down the best stroller out there and I've tried so many different ones looking for the perfect stroller. The wheels can make it over almost anything- I use this stroller everywhere from running errands around town to hiking on wide trails with logs and rocks and debris. The handbrake is essential for the steep hills we have here in Colorado. The Thule Urban Glide is essential to my mental and physical health, I really can't imagine life without it!

I’ve tried all the top jogging strollers out there and the Thule Urban Glide 2 is the lightest and makes running with a stroller a breeze! I’m 4’11” and my husband is a foot taller and we can both comfortably use it thanks to the very adjustable handlebar. Highly recommend!

My wife has wanted to start running again, but with the baby. With the Urban Glide 2 and the baby, when running, it feels extremely effortless. The stroller is pretty light and nimble when you need to make quick turns. We appreciate the handbrake design and that there is a tether strap that is permanently attached to the handlebars. The handlebars are adjustable in many positions to accommodate your walking/running/jogging posture. The handbrake does a great job of preventing the baby from rolling away when running. If you would like the brake to be more responsive or less. Thule designed the stroller to make adjustments a breeze. Upon receiving and assembling the stroller, we decided to take it on a stroll the following day. In the morning, we found one tire to be completely flat. I inflated the tire again and submerged it in water to find the valve stem leaking quickly. I contacted Thule and provided the video; they were very quick to send out a new tire tube free of charge the next day. I live in the desert, and we have a lot of goat horns on the trails by the house. We had to upgrade the tubes in each tire to a puncture-resistance tubes. After that, we haven't had any issues. When collapsing, the stroller is a one-hand operation. This makes loading the stroller in the trunk a quick and easy process. My only recommendation to Thule is when the seat is completely up; the baby is still sitting at an angle. The angle is great when running. However, the baby did take some time before he got adjusted to that angle. If the seat were more upright at the highest setting, kids would probably be more comfortable sitting during a stroll.
