Summary of reviews
These triangular-shaped pencils are designed specifically for young children, making them ideal for developing proper grip and writing skills. Guests appreciate their sturdy construction and ease of use, which helps little hands learn to write comfortably. The larger size and shape also prevent rolling off desks, making them a practical choice for classrooms and home use. However, finding a suitable sharpener can be a challenge, as standard sharpeners may not accommodate their size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these pencils for my children. I keep things on hand for ease of use for their hands. My nieces and nephews love these chunky pencils as well. I plan on finding similar items for their creative minds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a daycare and have been using these for them and they are working really great for them. They are learning to hold their pencils in the correct way. Only problem is trying to sharpen them and a normal sharpener doesn’t work well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pencil is great for developing young children's grip. Even my older children and myself like it because it reduces hand fatigue when writing a lot. The one downfall is that it is extremely hard to find a pencil sharpener that is triangular and this size. It would be good if the sharpener came with the pencils. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars.
Wonderful Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Ticonderoga tri-write pencils. They are perfect for my little ones fingers as she is practicing to learn to write her name. They are nice big triangular shaped pencils perfect for her little hands and fingers to grasp. I wish all preschools and kindergarten classes would use these. They are perfect for beginners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product as I have a 6 year old at home who forever wants to write with something other than crayons. Every time Mommy is writing he wants to write. These pencils are nice and thick so he is able to grip them properly when he is writing his letters. He took a couple to school with him so he can use them to write in his books and all his teachers asked where I got the pencils from because they were perfect for little fingers. I told them I got them as a sample. I love them. I will be looking all over for these for the next couple of years!! Thanks for the opportunity to try these out!!!

They are easy for her little hands to grab and to use while learning her letters and numbers. They are not too big or too small, just perfect for little hands. Plus, there are plenty to share.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is in Kindergarten this year, his teacher mentioned he was having a hard time holding the pencil the correct way. Bam! I found these! Seriously perfect timing. Anyways these are fantastic. The shape makes it so easy for littles just learning how to write. Its also a nice thick pencil (because of the shape) so they are sturdy and hold up well to a rambunctious 5 year old. I'm very happy with the product and recommend to anyone with kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TRI-WRITE MY 1ST WRITER is and awesome first pencil. My daughter found this pencil easier to hold and write with. The only problem we had with the Tri-Write, was it didn't sharpen easily with a normal pencil sharpener.
So awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very different than any other pencil. The thicker pencil is easier for littles to use while developing fine motor skills, while the triangle shape nudges them to hold the pencil properly.Although it's kinda funny it's a product for children, they make epic carpenters pencils. The triangular shape fits the hand perfectly and can be set down without rolling. The soft lead is surrounded by first class wood that sharpens nicer than the pencils the lumber yard gives you.
Easy for small hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old daughter has been practicing writing her name in crayon. So, getting these was the perfect time to switch her to a pencil. They are easy to grip and great for the transition. She is left handed so it’s been a tad awkward for her. I will say that you need a bit bigger pencil sharpener, than the standard size. They do sharpen nicely once you have the correct size. They are great quality and bigger than a standard pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are designed for small hands as a first choice when writing begins and I think they are perfect for younger children. Traditional pencils don’t have enough surface area to grip whereas these are thicker and triangular shaped to provide a better grip. They are about the same length of a traditional pencil, maybe slightly larger and seem balanced in my sons hand. They are sturdy and didn’t break in half. The only con I’ve realized is that I only had a traditional sized pencil sharpener at home and needed to go buy a multi sized pencil sharpener to use them. I definitely think these are great as my sons first pencils to use to develop his writing skills. Overall, I do recommend these to parents and teachers looking for an easier to grip pencil for little hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Tri-Write pencils are great for little ones learning to write. They are easy to hold and keep in position without dropping them. The erasers are big too for all the erasing they do as they learn. I would highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has just begun writing, so we’ve been through countless pencils trying to find one that was comfortable for her to learn with. These pencils ended up being perfect. She can easily grip them correctly because of their large size. I also like that they come in a pack of 36 because my kids tend to loose everything! I definitely recommend these pencils to any kids that are having a hard time using a regular pencil.
