Q: Does the detergent cube contain PVA in it at all ?

A: The response from P&G is technically true (no plastic as a binding agent), but the ingredients literally say "structurant (polyvinyl alcohol polymer)." All plastics are polymers.

A: It contains PVA which is a type of microplastic that doesn't fully biodegrade for a very long time.

A: This is the detergent. You don't need to add anything else. Essentially this is a replacement for Tide Pods.

A: I cut mine in 4s, before heading to Thailand, Indonesia and Australia last year. It was great for travel and kitchen sink washings!

A: Tide evo Laundry Detergent with Original Scent can be used in both top and front loading machines. Simply place tile(s) of Tide evo into the bottom of your washing machine’s empty drum whether it be a front loader or top loader. Use one tile for small loads or two tiles for larger/extra-large loads. Add your laundry, select your preferred wash program, and use the temperature setting indicated on the fabric care label of your garments. Close the package after use and keep out of reach of children.

These have completely change how I do laundry. It makes everything so simple!! My clothes are clean and smell fabulous….only problem is now that I discovered them I can no longer get them anywhere. Hope these release nation wide soon!!!

I had both the blue and the pink scents. I liked both. They work well, very little packaging waste, and don't make a liquidy sticky mess. Also, with pods, we would end up with the plastic sac that can't be good to be sent down the drain. As a bonus. this makse it really easy for the kids to do laundry too.

I love the scent! It last days, even weeks. Just toss in the wash and it completely dissolves. Leaves your clothes clean and so freaking. I was given samples at a grocery store and loved them!! I have purchased a large box since then.

Don’t see what is so “environmentally friendly” about having to wash my clothes twice because these things leave white residue all over my clothes. I put the detergent in first, as directed, and I’m find white crap all over my black clothes every time I wash them!!! These things suck, don’t waste your money, cuz you will when you have to wash all your dark clothes twice.

Sorry to hear this, Elizabeth. For best results we recommend adding the PODS directly into the drum of your washer before adding laundry, and before starting the wash. Avoid overloading the machine. This should help give you the results we’d expect from our PODS.

The design is simple and easy to use, while still being very effective and just as good, if not better, than other laundry products! I think the scent is great, and you seed suds start to form, immediately after dropping it in the water. If I could get all of that from an eco-friendly product, I will for sure choose to use these, versus products with plastic. Overall, I am very pleased with this detergent!
