The Haxnicks Fruit Tree Covers feature a 1mm 0.04" mesh size that is optimal for allowing moisture and sunlight to pass through while providing protection against harsh rain and hail. The mesh is also fine enough to prevent trapping birds, bats, and other wildlife. The covers are designed with a user-friendly "Lift Over" style and a sealable opening, and the netting color may vary. They offer protection for fruit from cicadas, cherry worms, aphids, fruit flies, wasps, birds, cicadas and other pests, eliminating the need for chemical sprays, and shield against frost, heavy rain, and hail. For best results, use in early spring to safeguard blossoms, removing after pollination to permit insect access. Employ in summer and fall to protect fruit. Ideal for Cherry, Peach, Nectarine, Apricot, Apple, Pear trees, and more. Available sizes: 3' cover measures 3.3"D x 4.11"H and weighs 3lbs; 6' cover is 6"D x 6"H at 5lbs; 9.8' cover is 9.8"D x 9.8"H at 10lbs; 13.1' cover is 13.1"D x 13.1"H at 16lbs.
