I was thinking about buying a 3 cups or 5.5 cups, and I'm glad that I bought a 5.5 cups. It's perfect for my household (2ppl). Packaging was good and there's was no damage. Works as I expected and rice is delicious! It came with the steamed container so you can cook a rice and other stuff on top on rice, which is very efficient and convenient.
Makes good rice, but the design of the machine is not so good

It's a bit too complex for me. It has so many functions I don't think I'd be able to try them all. It cooked my rice well. I tried making porridge, but I guess I will need to adjust the amount of water to make the thickness that I like. A few things that I don't like about this rice cooker: 1. The time shown is in 24-hr format 2. When you cook rice, it doesn't show how much time left until done. Only when it gets to 5 minutes left, then it starts counting down. 3. The door to the rice pot swings hard. When you press down the lever, the door swings back fast and hard that the whole unit jumps. 4. The legs of the unit are slippery so it moves on the counter very easily. When you try to spoon out rice, the unit keeps sliding with the spoon; so you need to hold it with your other hand.
