This is a pretty torch, however we can not get this thing to burn clean. It plumes out black smoke no matter how short or long the wick is.

We apologize for your experience and we appreciate your feedback. If you're looking for a clean burning experience, we recommend using our TIKI Brand BiteFighter Clean Burn torch fuel. It provides proven mosquito repellency and is plant-based, resulting in less soot and smoke. Also, please ensure the wick on your Torch is exposed to the correct height. For Torches on a pole, we recommend an exposure of 3/4 inch. For Table Torches, we would recommend an exposure of 1/2 inch. Likewise, you can trim your wick even shorter than recommended to create a smaller flame resulting in less smoke. -TIKI Brand

These are such beautiful lamps. The blue color is perfect. I also LOVE the wider metal wick holder. I have had some tabletop burners in the past, and the metal piece was maybe half the size in diameter of these. So, when a gust of wind would come up it would blow the flame on top of the glass and if it were that way for too long, the glass would crack, and would break. I think this larger diameter top will keep that from happening with these. I just ordered two more and one of the larger, coordinating torches.

Very nice oil lamp but got it home and filled it up and it began leaking right away. Turns out there’s a hairline crack in the base. No it’s useless. Big bummer!
