A: Thanks for reaching out! Currently, all our cheese is made with a fermentation-produced rennet product that is considered vegetarian. Please be assured that it is considered “not genetically engineered” by USDA bioengineered food labeling regulations and that there are no animal byproducts used to make our cheese (beyond milk) at this time. Furthermore, we do not use rennet that is produced by any pharmaceutical company.

A: Thanks for reaching out! All our cheese is made exclusively with a fermentation-produced rennet (also referred to as “enzymes”) that is considered vegetarian. You will find a mention of this on product packaging which indicates that the rennet is vegetarian / no animal rennet is used. Please reach out to our consumer care team for any further questions!

This cheese tastes good, but I’ve three times now opened a brand new package that was months before its expiration date to find mold on the cheese. It hasn’t happened with the cheddar or pepper jack of this brand, only mozzarella.

Tillamook creates the best cheese! This cheese was used on sandwiches, and to make a spinach dip. It tastes fresh and has the best ingredients. I love how creamy it is when it melts.

So I was pleased to see Tillamook in some of my local stores. Since I live in the land of Cabot cheese there were not to many options in this area. So I tried Tillamook cheese and these Mozzarella slices are awesome! The cheddar is also Excellent. Let's not forget how great the ice cream is either, loving having Tillamook products in my area.
