This blanket was such a great purchase! I have attended hundreds of games, and, oh, how I wish I had owned such a blanket years ago! The outer surface does a phenomenal job of stopping the penetration of both moisture and, here in West Texas, bone-chilling wind. The soft, fleece-like lining surrounds the user with cozy warmth! After the first use, I bought a second blanket to have on hand for other family members! I highly recommend this blanket and will keep it in my vehicle year round in case of emergencies! I bought the larger one.
