Q: do these bottles come with storage lids or just nipples and caps? I want to store milk in the fridge and have been told not to do so with a nipple attached to the bottle.

submitted by Jazz - 2 years ago
  • A: When purchasing our Closer to Nature Bottles, this particular style only comes with the nipple and hood, however our Closer to Nature Soft Silicone bottles do come with a handy travel cap as well as the nipple and hood, we have attached the link from our website for these bottles below, if you would like to take a look: https://www.tommeetippee.com/en-us/product/closer-to-nature-silicone-bottle#471=166&526=136&527=20194 When storing your feed in the fridge, we would recommend to not store then with just the nipple and hood as these are not considered as airtight enough to prevent air from getting to the feed on their own. We hope this is of some help and if we can help you with anything else, please call us on 1-800-715-9526 or contact us via PM on Facebook @TommeeTippeeNorthAmerica or webchat at TommeeTippee.com Warm wishes. Q: Bottle dimensions worry me for bottle warmers. Can a TOMMEE TIPPEE REP help? Are warmers an industry standard size? We didn't have warmers "back in my day."

submitted by Therese - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi Therese, thanks for your question. Using a bottle warmer can be a convenient way to make sure your baby’s milk is heated to the right temperature. Most bottle warmers will be able to fit jars of baby food as well as various sizes of bottle. Tommee Tippee has 3 types of bottle warmer in the range to suit specific needs. For reference, Tommee Tippee bottles have a diameter of 2.75in

Q: Is the nipples made for babies who have cereal in their bottle

submitted by Darien M - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi Darien - We recommend using our Added Cereal nipple for that purpose, which has a Y-cut nipple hole to allow for thicker liquids.

Q: does it only come with slow flow nipples? Or does it come with medium & fast as well?

submitted by Dj - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi DJ - The 9-ounce bottles come with just the slow flow (size 1) nipples. Once your baby is ready for a faster flow, replacement nipples such as Medium and Fast flow can be found here: www.target.com/p/tommee-tippe-closer-to-nature-baby-bottle-nipples-2pk/-/A-54529020. Hope that helps!

Q: Do these help with spit up?

submitted by Mrs - 6 years ago
  • A: Hello! The short answer is yes it does! Spit up is generally caused by getting too much air bubbles in milk. The Closer to Nature bottle has a valve in the nipple to release air and prevent air bubbles, therefore decreasing spit up.
