This game seems like a fun idea, however the pirate doesn’t pop up every time even when all of the swords are in. Kids played it once and became bored after the third time the pirate didn’t pop up.

My toddler loves this game. The problem is that it only works some of the time. Sometimes the pirate doesn’t pop up despite all the swords being inserted, sometimes you cannot get the pirate to insert and he keeps popping out. The swords also take some force/effort to insert.

This was such acute game for our toddler. It came off a little more ply than I’d like, but overall was cute.

My kids love it and it’s easy for all ages (20 months and up) to play together. Feels a little cheap and I wish the barrel base had some grip on it so it didn’t slide all over the table when trying to put the swords in but overall a win for us.
