A: Hey John. The Toniebox can be set up and used straight out of the box. However, we recommend charging it for a full 5 hours without use before gifting, so your little listeners can enjoy their Tonies without interrupting playtime!

A: Hey there. It’s important to note that the Toniebox only needs a WiFi or hotspot connection during the initial setup and when downloading new Tonie content. Once the content has been downloaded, the Toniebox no longer requires a WiFi or hotspot connection to play.

I bought this for my 2 year old so he has less screen time. I think when he is older and his attention span is not as short he will enjoy this more. He gets bored and easily distracted. He enjoyed it the first time. Wanted it in the background. But when we put it on now he doesn't really pay much attention to it.

Got this for my 2.5 y/o. Was unsure how he’d do with this but surprisingly he really enjoys it. I thought I’d have to get shelves and keep out of reach bc he’d lose the tonies but he keeps them all in the bag with his box. He enjoys switching them out, and have increased talking to sing the songs which makes me happy and smile. Holds great charge. Setup did take me a bit longer than what I thought bc the wifi setup itself confused me but I’m no IT. I’d say start to finish (and uploading 6 tonies after box setup) wad 35 minutes. We did this and charged it and put back in box so he could use it right away on Christmas. We love this in the car and an alternative to screen time while we play.

Got this for Christmas and charged it for 8hrs straight. It doesn’t not hold a charge. It does not turn on unless it’s on the charger. The fast forward, skip, and rewind features don’t work right. I am beyond upset that a company sells this faulty tonies box. Whatever type of cheap rechargeable battery they used arrives dead even before use from sitting in a box after manufacture. The battery life is supposed to be seven hours!!! Not zero brand new?!!!! This is a common issue with these. They are defective. Returning and will never buy again! Just pass. Not worth the huge headache. Shame on Tonies #toniebox garbage.

My little girl loves this and it helps me out reading story after stories to her. Don't get me wrong I love that my daughter wants me to read to her but she usually wants me read all her books and it's no small collection. Plus she loves the toy story songs and story.

Good luck getting it set up. Christmas morning fail. Expensive product for something you can't even get to work. I don't like that you HAVE to have it connected to the internet to use/download the characters, even when you have the physical characters. Waiting on customer service to get back to us, but at this point looks like a return.

The voices are not the real characters and it’s pretty obvious. This was super expensive to buy..to only have random people do these voice overs and sing the songs. Not sure what the hype is about.

My 4 yr old loves his Tonie box. There are areas for improvements, but overall we are happy with the purchase. The story is a condensed version of the movie and is so entertaining. We listen to it multiple times a day. There are 3 songs on this tonie. 2 we have never heard of which bummed us and 1 which is an original, but not sung my the original artist. I wish the tonie box had buttons to skip, rewind, & fast forward instead of tapping and tilting the box to use those functions. Overall great purchase and can’t wait to add more figurines to the collection.
