It was much smaller than expected and had a lot of plastic parts, but will hopefully hold up to a 3 year old playing. He will play with it for hours. Comes fully assembled.

It’s sturdy, made of real steel, and can handle rough play. My son loves using the working arm to scoop and dig, keeping him entertained for hours. It’s big enough to feel like the real deal but still easy for little hands to maneuver. Definitely worth it for any truck-loving toddler!

While it's recommended for 3+, he absolutely loves it. There is no assembly for it which is great. I was so impressed by the solid metal build – a refreshing change from plastic toys. The working treads are a great feature, and it handles sand and dirt like a champ. It's a basic toy, but in the best way possible. It's tough, well-made, and clearly built to endure years of play.

This steel classic Excavator is his new companion whenever he goes to park. He really enjoy playing with it . Its durability and quality is top notch. It has a movable top part like the original one. It does not have small parts , so that it is safe for kids as well. They took care of every detail while constructing this beautiful toy. Size is perfect too .we love it and definitely going to recommend this to all family and friends.

Well…my toddler got the tracks messed up almost immediately. It feels lightweight, but is still a fun toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im sure you remember the metal tonka trucks from the 90’s, real solid toys and could take a serious beating indoors and outdoors. This is a good comparison for these new steel series Tonka Trucks. The metal cab and scoop make a difference when comparing to other all-plastic kids construction toy trucks, definitely a more premium feeling toy. My son immediately incorporated this excavator into his Lego escapades and it’s nice that it’s not so big like they used to be, so he has a variety of different ways to play with it
