Q: Will the reading light take a 100Watt (equivalent) bulb? I find that 60Watt is not enough for reading.

A: Do you mean it’s dimmable if the bulb is dimmable?
submitted byBernice - 10 months agoA: Thank you for reaching out. The maximum wattage for the reading light is 60W equivalent bulb so we do not recommend using a 100W equivalent bulb. You can use a brighter 60W equivalent bulb if the current bulb being used isn't bright enough. Bright white, true white, cool white or daylight are all brighter color temperatures than soft white.

Q: what is a 100W 3-way bulb? aren't they 150-100-50W?

A: Thanks for reaching out. The main light on this lamp takes a 100W 3 Way Incandescent bulb, the reading light takes a 60W incandescent bulb.

A: Thanks for reaching out. Some assembly is required. This lamp can take an LED bulb as long as it is the same base type and compatible wattage.

This is an awesome light! I love how it lights up the room and directs all the light upwards towards the ceiling. It’s not in your face bright light. The adjustable light on the side is cool because I usually bend it at the wall or move to towards my desk when I’m working. I do wish the adjustable arm was a bit longer as it is really stiff. It’s nice that it has separate on/off switches for each lamp instead of a main one.
