My daughter knows how to cut she likes to help in the kitchen, when I bought the knife set she was so excited. So anytime I have food out and I'm preparing dinner. She just can't wait to help cook dinner. Those are great skills to have and she's not even in school yet, but she follows directions because she wants to help! Highly recommend this product to any child closer to four years old and up you will not regret this purchase
