The creamy texture absorbs quickly into the skin. Has kept my skin soft and subtle throughout the day. The natural packaging included two samples of other products and a soapberry that I was more than happy to test out. It’s non greasy and felt good on my skin. It does seem to hydrate well. I love the scent of lemongrass, but not in a lotion, so I didn’t care for that element of it, but did like the produce aside from that.

Pros - it moisturized my skin right away. The scent was a little too heavy for my liking, but it does moisturize, so that is my main goal. This moisturizer contains both chamomile and aloe, which are key ingredients in soothing skin. Again, my only con is the scent. It has more of a lemongrass scent than coconut. Lastly, it uses natural ingredients, and that is another important factor for me.

The Soothing Lemongrass & Coconut Lotion is super hydrating, so it does what it is supposed to. It has a mid-thick texture that delivers long-lasting hydration. But don’t worry because it is quickly absorbed and won’t leave any sticky feeling. The thing that surprised me the most was the scent. The smell of lemongrass brings me to my childhood. This Tree To Tub shea butter in a coconut and lemongrass scent definitely helps moisturize my skin. The scent comes across as a lemmon smell. I really don’t smell the coconut. The scent is light and clean. The lotion itself is not greasy and sinks into the skin well. On the label it says that it is ideal for sensitive skin; cruelty free, vegan and contains no surfâtes, gluten or parfume. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest giving this a try. I recommend this with a thumbs up.

How wonderful is Tree to Tub’s Shea Butter for the Body! The formula is high quality and made by a small business that has a great mission and product line. The formula smells lemony and absorbs quickly but still feels luxurious when applying, not watery like some lotions. And the package is great - it came with a couple samples as well as an actual shea nut! You can wet and work it into a natural lather. I have never used a TREE TO TUB SHEA BUTTER FOR BODY product and have quickly become a fan! This all natural Moisturizing Shea Butter Body Lotion is extremely thick, absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. I love how it makes my skin feel soft, moisturized and silky smooth. The light, almost tropical, long-lasting scent of coconut extract and pure lemongrass essential oil (with a hint of chamomile, shea & cocoa butters) is starting to grow on me. Also contains aloe vera, cedarwood, lavender, colloidal oatmeal and soy. The sturdy recyclable/recycled bottle is easy to handle and has an attractive color scheme. The popup pump dispenses just the right amount of lotion, a little covers a lot. I will definitely purchase and recommend this vegan TREE TO TUB Lotion in the future. Pros: I love its cruelty free, vegan, no sulfates, among other great things that are listed on the pretty bottle (see photo) . The packaging is eco-friendly. It has no perfumes and is advertised for delicate skin. I have very sensitive skin so I’m the perfect candidate. It has a great consistency (not too thick or thin) and is very moisturizing. Cons: Even though it’s all natural, I find the scent too powerful. It smells like ginger to me even though I don’t see ginger as an ingredient (see ingredients photo). I can’t continue to use it for this reason. It’s way more powerful than Bath and Body Works scents. The scent lingers. If you like strong scented lotion, but want all natural, this is a good lotion to try. If you prefer mild scented lotions, this is not for you.

I was very pleased with the way this lotion feels. Lotion can sometimes leave your skin feeling greasy. This one doesn’t do that. It goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. The fragrance I tried was Coconut and Lemongrass. While I didn’t hate the smell, it wasn’t my favorite either. When I used the lotion on my arms, the smell was too overpowering. I don’t think this is an issue with the product, though. I think it’s just my preference. I would love to try this in different fragrances because the lotion is great.

This was my first time trying anything from this brand. First, I have to note that the box came with no only the nicely packaged lotion but 2 small samples and a soapberry. I thought something from outside had gotten into my package until I looked at the little brochure and it had directions on how to use the berry to create soap foam (you can plant it as well). The lotion had the classic smell of lemongrass. It’s not my favorite— it reminds me of Thai food especially with the coconut lol, but it was still pleasant. It wasn’t a strong smell and it faded once on my skin. I loved the lightweight texture and the fast absorption. My skin didn’t feel greasy but it did feel hydrated and smooth and healthy. The packaging gave this a more luxe look and feel. It is a product I’d purchase for myself or as a gift. I recommend this lotion and I’d like to try more from this brand.
