LOVE the hairspray - the volume and hold is incredible, even better than the extra hold in the black and gold can. I am a huge Tresemme fan and loyalist and was excited to try a new formula for volume, However, I quickly realized that it has a very different, TERRIBLE SCENT. It gives me a headache and I feel self-conscious that the people around me may hate it as well. PLEASE make this unscented!!!

I have thin straight hair that I have to curl every day for any kinds of body and have tried all the fancy volume sprays that run in the 20$-30$ range and this stuff works just as well. Holds all day and doesn't have a strong smell at all.

Nozzle only squirts out large drops like it’s plugged, but it isn’t. The can arrived dirty almost like someone had already returned it for that same reason and they just put it back on the shelf. Now I have to go all the way into the store to return.

LOVE this hairspray! it adds the volume i need but still allows my hair to move without it having a weird texture. the scent is minimal and doesn’t have the typical “hairspray” smell. a bottle will last you foreverrrr!

This product works well, but smells HORRIBLE! I always use the Tresemme hairspray in the black and gold can - which I really like - but bought this version on a whim. I was only able to use it a few times before throwing it away and replacing it with what I typically buy. Honestly I do not understand why the scent is so incredibly strong and noxious - so strong that it actually feels unsafe to breath it in.

I hardly ever deviate from my tried & true level 4 Tresemme classic hairspray but this product is now a staple in my makeup kit! The smell is so lovely and it works wonders! It has great hold and leaves hair looking shiny and soft.

4a/4b hair. Bought this bc it was on sale. I really didn't notice a difference in the volume of my hair. Plus it makes my hair feel sticky. Will not buy again.

This is a great hairspray that I use ONLY for events. I don't use it daily as it's very drying because of the alcohol in it. Since it does dry out your hair a little that's why it holds so well!! I think this is perfect for cheer or any special events you need big hair for!! It holds all day! Just don't use it daily to protect your hair's health 🙂

First, this stuff stinks. TRESemme, you seem to think everyone wants to smell like a 70's mall perfume counter. We do not - leave the 70's musk behind, please. Secondly, this stuff feels terrible on my hair. It's terribly sticky, but weighed my hair down instead of adding volume. I could barely get a comb through after a light spray. This is getting returned. TRESemme, I wish you would bring back the Micro mist hairsprays - those were fantastic.

This hairspray is AMAZING, with one caveat. The scent is like a heavy perfume and is extremely overbearing. I had to stop using it because it was inducing migraines daily. If you have any type of smell sensitivity, don’t use this. If you don’t, and you want a lot of volume, this is the product for you!

Their only remaining decent hairspray product, but the smell is TOO STRONG - we need an unscented formula - I don't need my hairspray to fragrance my hair - please don't otherwise change the formula, though!! Hate the addition of water and silicones to some of your formulas.

I have used TRESemme hairspray for over 10 years, Extra Hold. It was and still is a wonderful product. My daughter was a competitive dancer and we began using TRESemme Extra Hold when she was young. It was ideal since it held every hair in place, but could also brush and restyle her hair. There was no damage, or flakes. I recently decided to try the Total Volume hairspray and it was such a disappointment. It left my hair looking almost wet or oily. The style did not hold, there was no volume. I used it for several days and was so unhappy I went and bought another Extra hold.
