I bought this for my electronics lab and it us working out perfectly! It's built like a tank and has a lot built in features that attract me. I've only had it for a few weeks but it looks and feels like it will probably last me my whole life time. I will definitely be purchasing another one soon.

Nice PDU but the internal fuse should be extended to an externally accessible fuse holder so the fuse can be replaced by owner if needed. Also a small, inexpensive voltage meter would be helpful to be able to monitor line voltage.
Never trusting a cheap power strip to suppress surges again.

I bought two of these when a recent power spike took down a couple of my portable USB hard drives, despite being behind a UPS and on a surge suppressing power strip. What I appreciate most about the 8-outlet Isobar is that the outlets aren't crowded together. I don't have any space conflicts between odd shaped "wall warts" that can't be resolved. An added bonus that I didn't expect are the little outlet covers that keep dust out of unused outlets. Indicator lamps tell a clear story at a glance. The generous cord lets me place it out of site and the angled flat outlet resolves any conflicts at the back of my *New* UPS or wall outlet.

Well built with a solid metal case and held together with screws. Generous 12 foot cord makes it versatile for any installation. Surge protection is best amongst its competitors. I have many of these units throughout my house.

I have been using Trip lite Isobars for years. they will do as advertised. I have 2 in use the older one is a Model 1B-8 and the new one that is in a cabinet in use .

This unit was bought for my audio system as an upgrade to the cheap surge suppressors sold at local stores. It did not disappoint. It's more robust than anything I've had before and should do the job of protecting my expensive electronics. It's worth the money.

Used Isobar products back in the day when I was a IT network admin in NYC. Now I live in heavily wooded area between steep hills lined with trees. The trees come down on the over head power lines and my computer gear is subject to full outages, bouncing yo-yo power, and major spikes. Got the Isobar 8 to protect against the dangerous zaps. Like the sturdy build, indicator lights and it's roomy enough to fit all my plugs. It's a great value and well worth it to avoid the nightmare of replacing a fried router & other mission critical gear. It gives me great peace of mind.
