The hardware is OK. Probably the CD is fine for Linux users, I don't know because all my computers with industrial rules are Windows. With Windows 7 : don't need the CD. Working fine after Windows discovers the hardware. With Windows XP : test with 2 versions of PC, desktop and laptop. With each one, I needed to go to FTDI website to download XP drivers. Hardware works fine, test every speed communication OK. SubD9 OK. Converter SubD9 --> screw wires OK.
