The firm feel is perfect for back and stomach sleepers and prevents sinking. I have thr original T&N in a full size. It's almost 10 years old and still in great condition. I needed a queen size so I purchased another one for my son. It's on the firmer side, but still very comfortable. It's more expensive than some other's iron the market, but considering it actually lasts 10 yrs plus, it's worth it.
