microphone slides out too easliy

The microphone is held in merely by the friction of the RCA jack. On the set delivered to me, this jack connection was loose. On mild movement, the microphone lost connection and might have fallen out. If you have epoxy or rubber bands you might fix this and it might work. The headphones were snug and keep out an amazing amount of sound. I almost kept them as PPE hearing protection for when I use loud tools. I am a teacher and being heard on zoom calls is the most important thing to me, when buying a boom-mic headset. This is my 8th set of headphones, I've tried so many and so far none that I would recommend, wired, wireless, all seem to work for a short time then fail. Would someone please make a simple two ear boom mic wired headset with no bells and whistles, no noise cancelling, no extra switches on the cable to go bad, solid soldering, heavy duty wires? Please!?

We have been threw ALOT of headphones from expensive to cheap. These have lasted my boys. They say the sound quality is good, must be cause they can never hear me when they use the. Smh. The mic is removable, so they can just use them for headphones if they wanted to. 10/10 no complaints
