Q: How do you connect the garden hose to the base of this? There is no threaded part on the end with the on-off switch.
A: Thank you for your inquiry! The “quick connector” adaptor should be removed from the on/off valve then connect one side of the on/off connector to the flow thru brush and use a double female coupler to attach your hose end to the other side of the on/off connector. submitted byTurtle Wax LW - 4 years agoBrand expertA: My brush had the incorrect on/off valve - it had 2 male ends and should have had a female end to attached to the garden hose and a male end to attach to the brush. Contact Lifeworks, the manufacturer, at support@golifeworks.com or the phone number above and with persistence (and maybe pictures of your brush parts), they will fedex you the correct on/off valve and new quick connect adapter.

Q: If I have to take off the ON/OFF valve to connect, what's the point? Why have the quick connect? This doesn't make sense.
A: call or email at golifeworks.com and Lifeworks will send you a correct on/off valve and quick connect adapter. The on/off valve on my brush had 2 male ends and should have had a male end and a female end. You may need to ask to speak to supervisor or design and engineering, but they sent me the correct part fedex.

Q: How is this car wash brush connected to garden hose while maintaining the on/off valve functionality.
A: theres a on off lever at the top of the handle.

Q: What is the brush made of ? Is it microfiber cloth ?
A: Thank you for your interest and inquiry. The brush head base is PP (plastic) material while the bristles are comprised of a soft PVC material that won't scratch the surface of your car, boat or other. Our Turtle Wax Quad Head brush is a great value at Target. We hope you enjoy your purchase!
