Cool Touch Waterproof Mattress Pad - Threshold™

This is the fourth mattess protector I've bought in the last month and have finally found a keeper. I think for a mattress protector to be waterproof, there does need to be some level of plastic-ness. This one does have a thin, plasticy backing. However it is the most minimally plasticy one I've found. The padding is thick enough to mask the plastic, so it doesn't make noise. It fits snugly to my mattress. It's also not too thick to where I can still benefit from my expensive mattress pillowtop.

Was exactly what we needed! My older in laws said the bed was very comfy!

Due to some of the reviews, I was skeptical, but it really has proven itself! My baby has had a couple of diaper leaks so I needed something to protect the layers of my bed. This works perfectly. Truly waterproof, kept a leak from going through to the layer beneath. It does have a cool feeling, and I love how it fits a deeper mattress well! I will say to be careful when drying - Dry on low but still remove it promptly as the waterproof layer can stick to itself.

The description of this item didn’t mention how many layers there were as well as a plastic lining.

We got a new bed and needed a mattress pad. It works great. We have it for different bed sizes.

If you’re use to the cheap mattress pad covers this one is a dream. It fits nicely on my king mattress. It’s cool to the touch (but not a miracle worker like you imagine in your head). I did not sweat with it though. It’s soft and a little plush. The threshold performance sheets fit nicely over it. I washed it on cold before use and low heat dry. It did take a little longer to dry. I plan to buy a couple more for our other beds.

For some reason, mine was not waterproof. Or should I say pee proof?

Polyester fill leaks out of the quilt top mattress pad.

This mattress pad/protector does not leak at all, but it did make tearing noises if I pulled it too hard from the corners of the bed while removing it. The stitching was torn and stringy after putting it in the wash and it takes 2 drying cycles on no heat. It also stains easily.

The mattress pad I bought is amazing! We love it and it fits perfectly on our queen size bed. Pockets are good and deep to secure it on the mattress without sliding around. It really is " cool " and feels great for a good nights sleep. I highly recommend this mattress pad.

its a average quality, the stretchy sides arent the best material compared to more expensive ones but the top does the job without spending a fortune. Dogs sleep on bed and this protects agaisnt the ocasional dog puke or or wet dogs.

Fits great on our king sized bed. Also fits in our washer and drier. Not crinkly or plastic-feeling. Love the waterproof feature. Definitely cool to touch initially, but I don't notice a "cooling effect" during sleep, but it's still comfortable anyway. My only problem with it has been that it's almost too silky smooth. The corners of my fitted sheet frequently pop off, especially if we're shifting/turning during sleep. I had never had this problem before using this mattress cover. Overall, the good outweighs the bad for me.

Easy to wash and doesn't make weird noises and is cushy under sheets. Not sure if it did any cooling but it was so hot this year who could tell. It did protect my mattress from how much I was sweating. Held up well thru a nasty summer hopefully lasts many more
