Is it the softest fabric? No. But not enough for me to send it back as the pattern is so cute! Upon receiving, I washed it with some fabric softener & my daughter uses a flat sheet, so you can’t really tell that the fabric is a bit stiff. It’s worth the buy & looks great in a little girls room. Highly recommend!

I have the quilt with this design and I'm OBSESSED with this design. The quilt has a lovely solid pink backing. When I saw there was a comforter too I was really excited until I realized the back was also white. Personally, it seems like a bad idea to have white on both sides of a comforter, especially if it's aimed at kids. I really wish the comforter had a solid color, reversible side as well. I don't want to worry about staining the blanket all the time so unfortunately I'll have to pass of this.
