Design features predominant shades of khaki and red, highlighted with shades of blues and ivory. Reverses to a modern navy pinstripe on khaki ground. Made from 100% cotton, the quilt set is breathable and comfortable. Pre-washed for extra softness. Filled with a blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, Eddie Bauer quilts are lightweight but warm. This quilt is thin as other reviewers have indicated, which is fine for summer and early fall. I prefer a lighter weight quilt so I went ahead and ordered it. From a distance it looks nice in my bedroom and matches the existing bed ruffle I had, so that’s a plus. Up close, the pattern is “stamped” on. It is especially noticeable on the reverse side. Colors are a bit more dull that shown The seams are well sewn, no frays noted. The size is perfect for my queen bed. Not top of the line quality, and in my opinion not worth the $99 Since it looks fine as you glance into the bedroom, I think I’ll keep it.

Bought a king for our queen guest bed. It’s a very tall mattress on top of a box spring so wanted the extra length. It’s decent quality. Looks great but wish the fabric was softer.

I was hoping for something a bit softer and more substantial. My husband reminded me, however, that this is what you get with a quilt as opposed to a comforter. He is right. So that taken into consideration, I will give it 4 stars. Great price. I hope it hold up to frequent washing which is why we go with quilts and not comforters.
