Hevea solid wood twin bed frame with trundle is a charming and simple design that presents clean crisp lines with lovely detailing. Constructed of solid rubberwood and wood veneer in dark brown, the platform bed is constructed to high specifications and its classic, yet contemporary design will complement most guest bedrooms or kid’s bedroom. The contemporary design will just match with any kind of decor and will be suitable for boy's bedroom or girl's bedroom. The trundle underneath the twin bed features hideaway for space saving purpose and could be pulled out to serve as a guest bed when need be. It comes flat-packed, for self-assembly at home. A: It is separate from the bed, so you can pull it out from either side of the bed.

A: We recommend a mattress no more than 8 inches in height for the trundle.

A: The weight capacity is 250 lbs. including the mattress for each bed surface. This bed would be suitable for an adult.

Overall, a sturdy and nice looking bed. Easy to put together. Only complaint is that the finish was chipped in two places although the shipping box was not damaged, so we feel that it was packed that way. Otherwise, we a very happy with this purchase.

Ordered online at decent prize with discount and promo code, thought it was a great value and pictures looked good online. expected delivery was the 26th and it arrived 5 days earlier on the 21st. so far so good. Upon opening the 1st box out of 3 package the headboard frame was cracked at 2 edges and the CORK holding the headboard together was out of a socket on one end and completely broken on the other end . nothing was holding the headboard together . even if it had arrived intact, I suspect the CORK holding the bed together would snap as soon as my son would have jumped on the bed. I did not bother opening the other 2 boxes I returned it for full price in store a few days later, no questions asked as soon as I told them it was broken on arrival. for that price i expected much better design and quality, I did not expect high end but at least up to par with other major store. IKEA sells a similar trundle for much cheaper and at least I know what I am paying for.
