Drawing inspiration from classic sofa designs for its rolled arms, button-tufting elements and the nail heads trimming, the Mabelle is constructed of a combination of solid wood and MDF. Padded with foam, linen-like fabric upholsters the frame throughout for leaning comfort. 3-in-1 Mabelle daybed comes with a twin roll-out trundle, so it can accommodate up to two overnight guests. It's a sofa! It's a bed! It's another bed! Elegantly styled with silver nail heads on the side panels, the Mabelle will definitely give your living space the sophistication that you are looking for. Q: What does the back of this look like? I'd like to put it in a room where it is not against a wall

A: In the side picture you can see part of the back is upholstered but there is an area under that panel where the mattress would show through. It is not completely finished in the back like a couch.

Q: I just bought this bed and I am in the process of putting it together. However for the side rails, how do you know which one is the left and right? And should the screws tap into which side?

A: The sides flare out at the top like the picture (what appears as arms similar to a couch). It should look like the picture and be tufted on the inside. The inside of the sides match the inside back, which is also tufted.

Don't waste your money!...PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS ITEM COMES WITH NO MATTRESS ..I ordered one just to find that it does come with no mattress!. I think the website does not clarify this issue; they say nothing about it so you may think that the piece of furniture comes with all included ..well it is not! When you add the price you have to pay for the mattress you will end paying more than $800 ...you definitely can find something better for less ...
