I don't usually write reviews and loved this daybed until one of the brackets between the two ends (holding the mattress up) split/cracked and it collapsed in a year and a half. Looks like the "wood" rotted?? I'm 150lbs and am not hard on my furniture. I'd give this zero stars if I could. For the price, complete junk.

Uneven, warped (wavy) and loose backing. Lots of dings in the wood. I was so sad, I waited months for this to be in stock after going back and forth between multiple daybeds for our living room.

Easy to put together. Looks like an expensive piece, but isn't. It's very solid. Exactly as pictured. I highly recommend. Plus, I found it on another furniture site for much more. Target for the win! The instructions do recommend hand-tightening everything instead of using a power drill. I used a power drill for the slats, as there are no pre-drilled holes.

Item arrived damaged. I should have returned it or asked for a replacement piece but the process to return it wasn’t worth it, so we decided to put it together to see if it was an issue we could deal with. Putting together was a pain but once my husband joined things went smoother - lol. Ordered it for photography purposes so it will get the job done as it looks absolutely lovely set up. I look forward to dressing it up with bedding and think it will work nicely for what I need it for. Perhaps packaging could be a bit more protective so no one else has to deal with damaged pieces.
