Washed Cotton Sateen Comforter and Sham Set - Threshold™

For the price of this comforter I really had higher hopes than the 2 days it lasted. I washed it on gentle, hung dry it and put it on my sons bed. When he woke up the next morning it had small little holes all over the blanket. I sewed up the small spots and figured it would be fine. But nope. It tore a giant gaping hole straight in the middle when I was making the bed and it’s THE COMFORTER so nothing is tucked in, it’s draped on top of the sheets and it TORE. So disappointed in Target for selling this garbage and calling it quality. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Opened it up and it had a huge slice cut in! So disappointed It wasn’t cheep either!

it’s good until it isn’t, unfortunately i washed mine on “bulky” rather than “normal”. had it for months before it tore in multiple spots. it’s fine if you wash it on gentle, as it’s lightweight but fine for winter.

This was wildly disappointing. The inside stuffing made its way out after day 2 of being on the bed. It attracts hair and lint like none other and is not soft like sateen should be.

Love how soft it is but it is so flimsy that it tore within the first week.

Not super soft but keeps me very warm. It is plushy

I went ahead and got it even tho it had bad reviews just to see… I picked it up from the store and noticed when I got to my car white microfiber fuzzes all over it. It was brand new.. covered in microfiber pieces. Returned it right back.

Disappointed bc I really wanted this comforter. Loved the look of it. Got the comforter, washed it in cold water, and dried it on low… and the filling turned into a brick (very stiff and the filling stuck together—can’t unstick it.) I’ve purchased several Target comforters in the past and loved some, but this is the 2nd one I’ve had this happen with. They’re absolutely not worth the money if you can’t even wash and dry them without them becoming unusable. I doubt I can even return this, but based on my experience with the last 2 comforters, I wouldn’t get another. The fabric is just ok. With it being sateen, I expected it to be slightly softer or silkier. I hate that the quality of the filling is so poor, because the parts that didn’t turn into a brick are so thick and fluffy. I refuse to buy a comforter for how it looks, never wash it (hate the smell), and then put a duvet cover over it. What’s the point of buying one for the look??

There are tears/holes showing up all over the comforter. I purchased the comforter a little over a year ago, and it is not holding up, which is unfortunate. I had been looking forward to having this comforter for a long time. I washed the comforter in a large front loader at a laundry mat as recommended. I would not think that causes tears. It just seems the fabric is made of lower-quality material. A few of the holes are where the stitching is as well. Now, I need to buy a replacement and hope it lasts a few years.

I would give zero stars if I had the option, this is my third one. It tears so easily, which is unfortunate for how over priced it is and it’s such poor quality.

This is such terrible quality all around. The sheets started piling after one wash, the comforter pilled without any washing. Dog hair sticks to it like no other and even after washing the comforter once it shrunk and creased so bad. The comforter is also a lot heavier than anticipated which made for some warm nights.

The fill clumped together and became stiff after just one washing. Terrible quality for the price.

It was decently fluffy but is kind of scratchy. Not worth the money in my opinion. Stitching was undone and had little balls without even washing it.

I liked it because it felt soft.

It is a nice and comfy! It does crease ALOT when going in the dryer though!

This comforter is sooo comfy. Unfortunately it the material attracts every lint and hair around. I even tried washing it and that actually made it worse. It made it clump up like fur balls all over. Wish this was better but wouldn’t recommend :(

Hot & Heavy. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE PETS. Hair sticks to this material like crazy. After 2 days of having it hair was stuck to it everywhere. Makes you feel dirty. Even after washing it it didn’t help. Need to trash this blanket. Waste of money.
