Description
Tylenol Cold + Flu Severe Day/Night Caplets provide temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms. The daytime caplets are formulated to loosen phlegm and temporarily relieve symptoms such as headache, sore throat, nasal congestion and cough. The Nighttime caplets help relieve runny nose and sneezing along with other symptoms such as headache, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, sinus congestion and pressure. Both formulas also temporarily reduce fever, for relief any time of the day. This convenient combo pack contains 24 caplets with 16 Daytime caplets and 8 Nighttime caplets. Each medicine caplet contains 325 mg of acetaminophen, a pain reliever and fever reducer; 5 mg of phenylephrine HCl, a nasal decongestant; and 10 mg of dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant. The Daytime caplets also contain guaifenesin 200 mg, an expectorant to help loosen phlegm (mucus), while the Nighttime caplets contain chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, an antihistamine.

These are the best cold and tablets that I have tried. The size isn’t too large where it hurts a sore throat to try to swallow them. They also don’t upset my stomach the way that the gel capsule brands do.

Only 2 day supply. Works fine I guess but you have to peel up a layer of cardboard to see dosing instructions- which, as mentioned, only cover 2 days. For 24 caplets you'd expect it would last longer.

These work good. The pills are of medium size and are easy to swallow. The pills are roughly the size of a small marble. They are color coded for day-time and night-time, as are the instructions on the packaging. You get 24 caplets total, and 8 of those are night-time pills, and 16 of the 24 are day-time pills. You can take the pills 2 at a time, with each pair being a minimum of 4 hours apart. My packet was well within date. The pill packets have an easy-to-tear foil covering with a pre-cut corner.
