Q: What is the silk weight to determine the fineness in quality of this product?

A: Our 100% natural silk pillowcase is almost 100GSM ( in silk lingo a 22 mommie) which is considered a fairly heavy weight, and can even be used for garments. So this is a very durable quality, which can be machine washed as well.

A: The silk is usually sold by fabric weight and not by thread count ( which is more for cotton). In terms of weight this is a heavy and thick weight silk and can even we machine washed. Thanks

Q: Is the Off-White silk dyed or is that its natural color (no dyes/ chemicals)? Describe its texture; Is it more a matte-lustre than silky finish? Looking for silk in its more natural state, even if it is not as silky smooth.

A: The off-white silk is natural, undyed. It's very silky and smooth due to its weave. This is real silk and its been woven to have a very smooth surface for maximum skin and hair benefit ( to reduce friction).

Q: What is the difference between your silk and Blissy? Is the Mulberry silk a better type? Or is yours just the same? Does it catch on fire or stop burning once removed from the flame? I was reading, one could tell if silk was real by using fire.

A: Dear customer, While it will not be appropriate for us to comment vs. a competition, but we can say with super confidence that when you buy our product and compare it with anyone in market, you will be pleasantly surprised on our quality and value. Mulberry is also real silk, considered superior within real silk. Like any natural things such as “hair” to explain this simply, if you burn silk it will smell like organic burn compared to fake stain, which is polyester and will burn like plastic does and curl up.

Good silk pillowcase! but even with proper care these only last about 6 months each. You definitely cannot accidentally put these in the dryer even once or they’re done. We’ve had three sets of these and are going to try a different brand now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was offered this pillowcase in exchange for an honest review. I was honestly excited to receive the pillowcase, mostly just because it was silk. I didn't care for the other "benefits". It came in a really well packaged, with a cool little box. The pillowcase felt great in my hands and was immediately put on my top pillow. I used the pillowcase for a week and got horrible sleep. I tossed and turned all night. The pillowcase was cool on both sides and felt amazing but for whatever reason I couldn't sleep. I ended up giving it to my wife, she has loved it so much. She can't really attest to the skin and hair properties of the silk because she changed both routines, had less stress and less hard water. But nevertheless she loves it.

I originally bought two of these silk pillowcases. And then I bought two more because I love them. My hair does not tangle, the pillow stays cool to sleep on and and feels wonderful on my skin. All around great purchase! I'm thinking about buying them as gifts for my daughters and sister in law.

It's extremely soft (almost a little slippery), and helps you feel cool during the night. It does feel like it is made rather well, and has a nice dark grey color to it. I would definitely buy a second pillowcase for my wife to use as she liked it as well.

This pillowcase is soooo soft and silky. I've been loving the moment my head hits the pillow every night since I got it. The packaging of this item is AWESOME. I love the solid box and its slim and sleek, definitely made me feel like it was a high end product. I really like this pillowcase. It is soft and smooth and feels silky as well. Unconventionally, I actually used this as my babies bedding because it fit her mattress perfectly. She was losing a lot of hair because she mainly lays on her back and her previous sheets were cotton and were causing her to have a rather large bald spot. I could not believe how well this worked! she actually has hair growing back in the places that she previously was losing hair. I would expect the same would happen if I was to use the pillow myself. She also had some spots on her face since she has sensitive skin but those spots have improved as well. I would expect this would probably be great for acne prone skin. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.

I have had other silk and satin pillowcases and they have been good quality but this pillowcase is far superior. The first couple of uses it seemed a bit rough but now after about two weeks of use it is so silky smooth. When I wake up my hair is not a tangled mess and I have very curly frizzy hair. I look forward to using my pillow and when I am somewhere else and don't have my pillow I definitely notice. I will highly recommend this pillowcase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so first off, the packaging. Amazing. You open the package and "Hello Beautiful" Is staring back at you! Sweet! I'll be the first to admit, Im not a real fan of silk. Now I'm not even sure if this is meant to be decorative or actually used on the bed. I couldn't see myself sleeping on this night after night. Cotton is the way for me. But this thing looks amazing. Would definitely compliment the look if you are one of those that has a lot of pillows piled up on your bed after you make it. Seems sturdy and well made. Should hold up for a long time, especially if it's more just for decoration. Bottom line for me, not to be used for sleeping with, but a definite yes for decoration!

I have never had a silk pillowcase before because I can be a heat sleeper and was afraid that it would make me sweat but I was surprised so far it has not made me hot during the night. I love the grey color because it goes great with my other bedroom pillows . This is very easy to take care of you can either hand wash or turn it inside out and run it through the washer. I love the feel when you move around at night you glide across the pillowcase and this feels so much better on my face than traditional cases. This is a nice upscale when choosing a pillowcase hands down!
