A: Marie, sorry to hear your dog was sick. We recommend serving 2.8oz bones to 20-55lb dogs, all breeds and to serve with water. We do not recommend use for puppies under 8 months old.

*DO NOT PURCHASE THESE* I have been buying these for years as my dog cannot have hard bones or treats and she loves them. However, recently they have been making her extremely sick and causing her to vomit. There must be something wrong with these most recent batches but I would not trust them again after the terrible experiences we have had with them lately.

My dog loves these treats. They last a good 5 to 10 minutes compared to some of the others we tried. I feel that the extra time she works on chewing the bone and the inclusion of the dental paste in the middle helps to keep her breath fresh.

I just tried these after a friend recommended them for picky dogs. I have a small chihuahua, so I cut the bone lengthwise and in half making 4 treats from 1 bone. My little guy took his time and seemed quite enthusiastic for more. He'll get a fourth every other day.
